CrossFit is built around a simple idea: improving overall fitness through functional movements, performed at an intensity that makes sense for you. Workouts change every day, blending strength, cardio, and bodyweight training to help you build broad, adaptable fitness without getting stuck in a routine. Everything is measurable, so you can repeat workouts, track your progress, and see real improvement over time. Every movement can be scaled, making the same workout accessible to beginners and experienced athletes alike. Nutrition also plays a key role, encouraging you to fuel your body with whole foods for better energy and performance. And at the center of it all is the community—supportive, accountable, and committed to helping each other show up and grow.

Meet the Owner: Cody Duge
For Cody, service and strength go hand in hand. As a full-time professional Firefighter and the owner of CrossFit Center City, he has dedicated his career to protecting and empowering the Rochester community.
Cody doesn’t just own the gym; he is in the trenches with his athletes. An active competitor in the CrossFit Games Masters division, he believes in leading from the front demonstrating that the hard work he asks of his members is the same work he puts in himself every day.
He took ownership of CFCC with a vision to build a space where first responders, busy professionals, and everyday athletes could forge mental and physical resilience. Whether he is responding to a call or coaching a snatch technique, Cody brings a calm intensity and a focus on safety and standards.

Meet Coach Aaron Witter
If you attend the Monday evening classes, you know Aaron as the coach who loves to see you get stronger. Specializing in Strength and Olympic Lifting programming, Aaron is dedicated to helping athletes find their physical threshold—and then push right past it.
Aaron brings a unique perspective to coaching, combining a background in nursing with years of athletic experience. Before joining us "since the move," he spent five years coaching at Victor CrossFit and a year at Nova. His own athletic background is incredibly well-rounded, spanning high school football, track, and wrestling, as well as collegiate lacrosse and tennis.
Aaron coaches for one simple reason: he loves the moment an athlete accomplishes something they thought was impossible.
Fun Fact: When he isn't coaching or cooking up a storm in the kitchen, Aaron sings 4-part harmony a cappella!

Meet Coach Doug O'Neil
Douglas "Doug" O’Neil is a dedicated coach who brings energy and expertise to morning, afternoon, and Saturday classes. Doug began his coaching journey in North Carolina several years ago and has spent the last three years coaching at various gyms in the Rochester area, including here at CCCF.
Doug’s coaching philosophy is grounded in effort and growth. He believes that CrossFit is a game of learning, listening, and improving. Recognizing that only the top 1% make it to the CrossFit Games, Doug encourages his athletes to simply enjoy their unique journey, ask plenty of questions, and—most importantly—not be afraid to fail. "This stuff isn't easy," Doug says. "If it was, everyone would be doing it."
For Doug, the best part of coaching isn't just the fitness; it’s the people. He finds the most joy in sharing "firsts" with his classmates whether it’s a first lift, a new PR, or stepping onto the competition floor for the first time.
Fun Fact: Ask him about his swimming adventures he was once bitten by a piranha and survived to tell the tale!
